This is a great op-ed from the Washington Post, another piece of evidence that the idea that the United States “did nothing and knew nothing” is completely false. The editorial also notes that since psychological warfare and warnings were not having any effect, the only thing the Allies could do to save people was to win the war. Â Reprisals were not the answer. ”
