Drew Pearson had a gossip column in the Washington Post, and had a weekly radio show on NBC called “Drew Pearson Comments.”  In his April 10th show, Pearson reported on the Vittel group and accused specific members of the State Department of holding up the February cable about protective papers.  If the cable had been sent. this group from Vittel might not have been deported–as it stands, they could already have been killed.
